Entre Indre et Indre-et-Loire – Valençay, Montrésor, Montpoupon
The theme of our June event was the discovery of the life of some important families in Indre and Indre-et-Loire country during different periods.
On saturday morning first appointment was at the Car Museum of Valençay where you can see 80 years of the car production. In the afternoon visit with a guide of the Valençay Castle, which was during the XVIIIth century the M. de Talleyrand residence.
On sunday morning trip to the Montresor village, with the visit of this place, then the visit of the castle which was has belonged to the Earl X. Branicky, known for having participated in the reconstruction of Haussmannian Paris.
In the afternoon discovery of the life in the Castle Montpoupon at the beginning of the XXth century.
35 persons have participited at the event.

Notre évènement du mois de Juin nous a conduit dans la région de l’Indre et dans celle de l’Indre-et-Loire pour nous faire découvrir, au travers de lieux et des châteaux intimistes, la vie de certaines familles importantes au cours de différents siècles.
Le samedi matin, le premier rendez vous était au Musée Automobile des frères Guinard à Valencay. Celui-ci regroupe des véhicules représentant 80 ans de production automobile. L’après-midi fut consacré à la visite du Château de Valencay, qui fut la résidence de C.M. de Talleyrand. La vie de ce grand diplomate a été le fil conducteur de ce grand moment.
Le dimanche matin, balade guidée dans le village de Montrésor, puis découverte du Château qui a appartenu au Comte X. Branicky, connu pour avoir participé à la reconstruction du Paris Haussmannien.
L’après midi, changement d’époque avec la visite théâtralisée du Château de Montpoupon, illustrant la vie dans les années 1920.
35 personnes ont partagé ces bons moments.
