Ireland 2019

Irland was the plan for the trip of our region in 2019. The 29 March 17 crews 33 persons take the ferry at Roscoff destination Cork. The first stage the 30 March was Cork to Dublin. We spend the Sunday in these town and visit Guinness Storehouse, Trinity College and Book of Kells and the old library. On Monday road towards Galway with a stop at the old distellery of Kilbeggan. On tuesday we have arranged a scenic circular drive through the Connemara National Park with a stop at the Kylmore Abbey. Wednesday we drive to Killarney through the Buren Area with a stop for walking in the Cliffs of Moher and cross the Shannon river with the ferry.Thursay was reserved for a drive through the Dingle Peninsula and Friday a drive through the Ring of Kerry. Saturday it was time to return to Cork with a stop at Skibbereen to take the ferry back to Roscoff. A very good trip, very good hotel, very pleasant weather and a very ggod friendship.

L’Irlande était la destination de notre voyage 2019. Le 29 Mars, jour programmé du Brexit , il fallait oser,17 équipages dont 7 Classic et 10 Moderne, soit 33 personnes ont pris le Ferry à Roscoff direction Cork. La première étape nous a conduit à Dublin avec un arrêt à Cahir. Dimanche, city tour de Dubin en car avec visite du Guinness Storehouse, du Trinity College et Book of Kells. Lundi route vers Galway avec une découverte de la vieille distillerie à Kilbeggan. Mardi balade au sein des merveilleux paysages du Connemara National Park avec la visite de Kylmore Abbey. Mercredi destination Killarney en traversant la zone de Burren avec une découverte pédestre des Falaises de Moher. Jeudi découverte de la Péninsule de Dingle et vendredi balade dans la fameux Ring of Kerry. Le samedi retour vers Cork pour prendre le ferry vers Roscoff. Ce fut un très beau voyage plein de découvertes donnant l’envi d’y revenir, avec une très confortable hôtellerie et une météo très agréable.
