Our event of October was on the theme\u00a0: Patrimony and Tradition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our first appointment was at the Museum of Crafts at St Laurent-de-la-Plaine (49)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

All begun in 1960 when 2 men, a carpenter and a blacksmith, decide to present their crafts at the population. They built the Museum\u2019s room in an 18th-century architectural style with beautiful timber framing and a paved courtyard. Today, 12 different exhibition rooms present scenes and tools from the trades of stone, wood, textiles, and metal. It is an immersion in the rural and craftsman world at the beginning of the 20th century.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our second appointment, after \u00e0 very good lunch , was at firm Ateliers Perrault in the same town. 264 years of history in the woodworking, carpentry, and joinery trades, and today 200 employees, including 55 carpenters and 100 joiners, have positioned the company as the French leader in the market for the restoration of historical monuments, castles, and listed buildings, as the Queen’s Hamlet in Versailles, the Ch\u00e2teaux of Chantilly and Chambord ; their last yard was the timber frame of the Cathedral of Paris.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Notre \u00e9v\u00e8nement d\u2019 Octobre \u00e9tait sur le th\u00e8me : Patrimoine et Tradition<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Notre premier Rendez vous f\u00fbt au Mus\u00e9e des M\u00e9tiers \u00e0 St Laurent de la Plaine (49).Tout a commenc\u00e9 en 1960 quand 2 hommes, un charpentier et un forgeron ont d\u00e9cid\u00e9 de faire conna\u00eetre leurs metiers \u00e0 la population. Ils construisirent un batiment dans le style architectural du XVIII avec de belles charpentes et une cour int\u00e9rieure pav\u00e9e. Aujourd\u2019hui 12 salles d\u2019expositions compos\u00e9es de sc\u00e8nes et d\u2019 outils , issus des m\u00e9tiers de la pierre, du bois, du tissus, du m\u00e9tal vous plongent dans l\u2019 univers rural et artisanal du d\u00e9but du XX .<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Apr\u00e8s un tr\u00e8s bon d\u00e9jeuner notre 2\u00e8me rendez vous nous a conduit aux Ateliers Perrault situ\u00e9s dans la m\u00eame ville. 264 ans d\u2019 histoire au travers des m\u00e9tiers du bois, charpente et menuiserie et aujourd\u2019hui 200 collaborateurs, dont 55 charpentiers et 100 menuisiers \u00e9b\u00e9nistes ont positionn\u00e9 l\u2019 entreprise comme la r\u00e9f\u00e9rence fran\u00e7aise sur le march\u00e9 de la restauration des monuments historiques, chateaux, maisons class\u00e9es : Lyc\u00e9e HenryIV, Pr\u00e9fecture d\u2019Angers , Hameau de la Reine \u00e0 Versailles, fen\u00eatres pare-balles, Ch\u00e2teaux de Chantilly et Chambord et la charpente de la Cath\u00e9drale de Paris,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

50 ersonnes r\u00e9parties en 2 groupes les 20 et 27 Octobre pour des raisons de s\u00e9curit\u00e9, ont partag\u00e9 ces moments<\/p>\n\n\n\n
