May was on the theme of the gardens. Appointment in the little town of Maulevrier, near Cholet, where you find the Colbert Castle with a remarkable kitchengarden and the Oriental Park.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Colbert Castle\u2019s kitchengarden has been created in 1768 and has gone the centuries with ups and downs and it has been entirety remade since 2011 in the original design.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It produces all the vegetables you find on the gastronomic restaurant\u2019s tables. It has received the price of the more beautiful french kitchengarden in 2016 and 2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lunch in the Chateau Colbert restaurant, hight place of the regional gastronomy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the afternoon visit of the Oriental Park :<\/p>\n\n\n\n

it has been created in1885 within the Colbert estate and transformed by an architect, enthusiastic of Far East, who had created a japanese garden along the river La Moine, with trees and some eastern matters of the 1900 Universal Exposition of Paris.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Neglected during 40 years after the WW2, it has been bought by the town. An association has secured the renovation in the original aspect.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Now it is a remarkable garden, recognized by the professors of the Tokyo University.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

30 crews, 60 persons participed in this beautiful event.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Notre \u00e9v\u00e8nement du mois de Mai \u00e9tait sur le th\u00e8me des jardins.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nous avions choisi la petite ville de Maul\u00e9vrier (49) dans la r\u00e9gion de Cholet, o\u00f9 se trouvent le Ch\u00e2teau Colbert avec son remarquable Jardin Potager, et le Parc Oriental.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Le Jardin Potager a \u00e9t\u00e9 cr\u00e9\u00e9 en 1768, a travers\u00e9 des hauts et des bas au cours des si\u00e8cles, et a \u00e9t\u00e9 totalement reconstruit \u00e0 partir de 2011 dans l\u2019esprit de l\u2019origine. Aujourd\u2019hui sur 8 000 m\u00b2, il produit dans 14 carr\u00e9s entour\u00e9s de buis,une gamme de l\u00e9gumes que l\u2019on retrouve sur les tables des restaurants gastronomiques.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Il a re\u00e7u en 2016 et 2019 le prix du plus beau jardin potager de France.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Le d\u00e9jeuner fut pris au Ch\u00e2teau Colbert, belle place de la gastronomie r\u00e9gionale.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

L\u2019apr\u00e8s-midi visite du Parc Oriental :<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ce parc a \u00e9t\u00e9 cr\u00e9\u00e9 en 1885 au sein du domaine Colbert, transform\u00e9 par un architecte passionn\u00e9 d\u2019Extr\u00eame Orient, qui a b\u00e2ti un paysage japonais dont la promenade suit la rive de La Moine, avec des arbres et des \u00e9l\u00e9ments orientaux provenant de l\u2019Exposition Universelle de Paris de 1900. Laiss\u00e9 \u00e0 l\u2019abandon pendant 40 ans apr\u00e8s la 2\u1d49 guerre mondiale, il a \u00e9t\u00e9 rachet\u00e9 par la ville. Une association s\u2019est cr\u00e9\u00e9e pour en assurer la r\u00e9novation. Aujuourd\u2019hui, il est reconnu par les architectes japonais comme un jardin de  promenade.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Il est class\u00e9 parmi les jardins remarquables.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
