The theme of our october\u2019s event was : Diving into the Prehistoric and Medieval Periods<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Saturday\u00a0: appointment in the Fontevraud Abbey for a guided tour. This abbey is one of the biggest in Europe. Here are located the
recumbent figures of Richard the Lionheart and Eleanor of Aquitaine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The lunch was taken in an old coaching inn, and in the afternoon we visited an old troglodyte quarry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dinner in the medieval kitchen of the Castle of Montreuil-Bellay.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The sunday was reserved for the visit, by the owners, of the Castle of Montreuil-Bellay, its gardens and discover of its vineyard, when visiting its wine cellar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

47 persons were present for this exceptional event<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Le th\u00e8me de notre \u00e9v\u00e8nement du mois d\u2019 Octobre \u00e9tait :<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Plong\u00e9e dans la Pr\u00e9histoire et l’Epoque M\u00e9di\u00e9vale<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Samedi\u00a0: rendez-vous \u00e0 l\u2019Abbaye de Fontevraud pour une visite guid\u00e9e. Cette abbaye est une des plus grandes cit\u00e9s monastiques d\u2019Europe et conserve les gisants de Richard C\u0153ur de Lion et d\u2019Ali\u00e9nor d\u2019Aquitaine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Le d\u00e9jeuner f\u00fbt pris dans un ancien relais de poste, suivi dans l\u2019apr\u00e8s-midi par la visite d\u2019une ancienne carri\u00e8re troglodyte (Le Myst\u00e8re des Faluns).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Le d\u00eener, point d\u2019orgue de cet \u00e9v\u00e8nement, f\u00fbt pris dans la cuisine m\u00e9di\u00e9vale du Ch\u00e2teau de Montreuil-Bellay.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

La journ\u00e9e du dimanche f\u00fbt consacr\u00e9e \u00e0 la d\u00e9couverte historique de ce ch\u00e2teau, de ses jardins et de son vignoble, faite par les propri\u00e9taires.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

47 personnes ont partag\u00e9 ces moments exceptionnels.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
