The 27 April was a patrimony day in relationship with the FFVE (French federation of period vehicles) and we have decided to participate .<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

16 crews joined in Barb\u00e2tre, a little municipality on the Noirmoutier island.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The morning, Tony Erceau, our guide, gave us all the explanations on the events that during WW2 allowed 24 english Beaufighter bombers to sink 4 german minesweepers. The remains of 2 boats are visible at low tide.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After an official ceremony, in memory of all the fighters dead in this area, our Club gave a donation to the Association which managed these searchs and tombs maintenance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The afernoon we had an appointment at the Ecomuseum Daviaud for discovering the life of the \u00ab\u00a0Mara\u00eechins\u00a0\u00bb in the XIX century<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A very good organisation on the sun.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

3 classics sur le site de la bataille<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Le 27 Avril \u00e9tait une journ\u00e9e Patrimoine organis\u00e9e par la FFVE et notre Club avait d\u00e9cid\u00e9 d\u2019y participer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

16 \u00e9quipages se sont retrouv\u00e9s \u00e0 La Barb\u00e2tre sur l\u2019\u00eele de Noirmoutier .<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Le matin Tony Erceau nous a fait d\u00e9couvrir et revivre ce site historique de la WW2 o\u00f9 4 dragueurs de mines allemands ont \u00e9t\u00e9 d\u00e9truits le 8 Ao\u00fbt 1944 par 24 bombardiers anglais \u00ab Beaufighter \u00bb de la Royal Air Force et de la Royal Canadian Air Force ; les vestiges de 2 bateaux sont visibles \u00e0 mar\u00e9e basse.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lors d\u2019une c\u00e9r\u00e9monie en m\u00e9moire des combattants morts dans cette zone, notre Club a remis un don au \u00ab  Groupe D\u00e9partemental de Recherche S\u00e9pulcrale et de M\u00e9moire Historique Combattante de Vend\u00e9e \u00bb.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

L\u2019apr\u00e8s-midi, nous avions rendez vous \u00e0 l\u2019 Ecomus\u00e9e du Daviaud pour d\u00e9couvrir la vie des Mara\u00eechins, habitants du Marais breton-vend\u00e9en au XIXe si\u00e8cle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
