In february our team has discovered the world of the crockery. Malicorne is a little town near Le Mans where a man and his wife work in a workshop subduing the complete round of the crockery, whatever old or comtemporary, from the lump of clay which comes from Malicorne, the white, sheer enamel recipe, till the manual decoration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A respect of the tradition which enjoyed the 48 persons which were present.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Le th\u00e8me de notre \u00e9v\u00e8nement de F\u00e9vrier \u00e9tait la Fa\u00efencerie.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Malicorne, une petite ville de la Sarthe, est r\u00e9put\u00e9e pour sa tradition fa\u00efenci\u00e8re depuis plusieurs si\u00e8cles. Aujourd\u2019hui la Fa\u00efencerie d\u2019Art maintient ce savoir faire. Mr Deschamp et son \u00e9pouse tiennent un atelier maitrisant le cycle complet de la fabrication de la Fa\u00efence, qu\u2019elle soit ancienne ou contemporaine, de la motte d\u2019argile brut provenant de Malicorne, de la recette d\u2019\u00e9mail blanc et pur, jusqu\u2019 \u00e0 la d\u00e9coration manuelle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

La qualit\u00e9 du travail artisanal r\u00e9alis\u00e9 dans le respect de la tradition a enthousiasm\u00e9 les 48 personnes pr\u00e9sentes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
